Overall Sentiment: Our impression is mixed. We like the trap’s simple plug-in, set-and-forget design and its bright, pleasant blue glow, which customers also find useful as a night light. Some report that it catches gnats and flies effectively, particularly when it is the only light source in the room, and appreciate that the sticky surface continues to hold insects.
What We Dislike: Our main concern is inconsistent performance: while some customers see catches, others report that the trap catches nothing. Its lifespan is also unpredictable, with reports ranging from a few months of use to failure after about six weeks. Opinions on value follow the same pattern—some consider it worth buying, while others feel it is a waste of money.
Common Themes: Reviews repeatedly mention ease of setup, light quality, effectiveness in different conditions, durability, and value.
Our Recommendation: We would recommend it cautiously rather than as a dependable solution for everyone. It may suit someone seeking a low-effort trap and gentle night light, but buyers who need reliable insect control or long-term durability may want to consider alternatives. Since results appear to vary, expectations should be modest.
